Instrumentation

Our department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation in all areas of modern structural and computational biology, enabling to perform cutting-edge integrative structural and computational biology research.

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility

The NMR facility is located at the Vienna Biocenter in building VBC5 in the Department of Structural and Computational Biology of the University of Vienna. It currently houses a 500, two 600 and an 800MHz spectrometer.

BioOptics - Light Microscopy Facility

The BioOptics facility is dedicated to providing state-of-the art light microscopy equipment to Max Perutz Labs researchers. The facility has been centralized in rooms of the VBC5-building.
